中国面积广阔，东部沿海和西北部内陆地区的气候有着天壤之别。我们围绕“家园”的主题，试图探索国土的另一面，以纪录片的形式记录下陌生的“家园”的景象。在拍摄过程中，作为观察者的角度反思了人与自然相互依存的关系和土地带来的归属感。而作为个人，当地人文的变迁也让我们开始思考生命的意义。
Before the Sunset既表示本片的内容都在白天完成，更指在生命亦或一方土壤的终点到来之前。
China has a vast territory. The climate of the eastern and northwestern is vastly different. Focusing on the theme of “homelands”, We attempts to explore the other side of the country and documented the scene of the unfamiliar “home” with a documentary. During the process of shooting, I reconsider the relationship between human and nature as a observer. I also try to consider the sense of belonging brought by the land. As an individual, the changes in local humanities also let us begin to think about the meaning of life.
Before the Sunset not only means that the content of the film was shooting during the day, but also means before the end of life and before the end of a civilization.

我选择了采风过程中拍摄的照片作为灵感，分别将树林和马毛纹理、沙漠和永泰古城土墙、枯掉的杨树和绿洲的芦苇组合，通过ps处理，给其增加流动感，并且在每张海报上增加了绿色元素，传达水源和植物对土地的重要性。
I chose the photos that take during the collecting as the inspiration. I combined the forest and horsehair, desert and the walls of the ancient city of Yongtai, the dead poplars and the reeds of the oasis, deal them with Photoshop to give them a sense of fluidity.I also added the color of green posters to convey the importance of water and plants with the land.
